Outriggers

Outriggers is a Bay Area Houston favorite. This restaurant has one of the best views, delicious seafood, and it floats! This is a great place to relax and watch all the boaters and fisherman. If you own a boat, you can dock here too. On the weekends there is usually live music and dancing on the bottom deck. ($2.00 shrimp and fish tacos on Tuesday too!)

Bay Day

This Saturday is the Bay Day Festival at Kemah Boardwalk. There will be hands on demonstrations, activities, live music, and the Texans cheerleaders! This one day celebration is presented by The Galveston Bay Foundation to let the public experience and learn more about Galveston Bay, the largest bay in Texas.

Whatever Floats Your Boat

We enjoyed our weekend by cruising on Clear Lake and Galveston Bay by boat. The sun was out and there were tons of boaters. There was live music at Outrigger's all weekend so everyone was dancing and having a good time. The Boardwalk FantaSea looked like a popular choice this weekend. South Shore Harbour Resort had a good crowd at their pool, too. 

Memorial Day Weekend

Noah's Ark

Happy Hour

I recently went to La Brisa Mexican Grill in League City and tried one of these bad boys for the first time. It was delicious! Not to mention they have some of the best Tex Mex food in the area (their green sauce is my favorite).

Next time you are in the area, go to La Brisa and sit under their huge palapa and enjoy happy hour!

Burger Heaven

Ask any local of Bay Area Houston and ask them the #1 place to get a hamburger and they will tell you... Tookie's! We recommend anyone visiting the area to go to Tookie's and get a cheeseburger with onion rings, you won't regret it!
