Lone Star Rally


The streets of Galveston will be rumbling with the sound of tens of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts as they ride into town for a 4-day weekend filled with free concerts on two stages and 100's of vendors and manufacturers showcasing all things Harley Davidson.

Come to Bay Area Houston the first weekend of November to celebrate the 4th Annual Salute to Military Service, hosted by the KemahBoardwalk and the City of Kemah.  This year, Kemah and the Texas Chapter of the Children of the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund will be bring over 90 wounded veterans and their families to Kemah for a completely free weekend of entertainment, food, lodging, and amusement rides on the Kemah Boardwalk. Major General Allen W. Batschelet, commander of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, will be traveling to Kemah to join the festivities, and the popular All Veteran Parachute Team will Jump into the Boardwalk at 5:30PM on Saturday, November 2.

There will be a variety of military displays that are free to the public.  Please bring your family and enjoy the day perusing the displays and showing support for all our veterans.

In addition to coming out and joining the festivities, you can also show your support for our veterans by sponsoring the weekend activities for one of the soldiers. The Children of the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund has worked hard gathering donations for food, lodging, and entertainment for each of the soldiers, garnering considerable support from the City of Kemah, the Kemah Boardwalk, South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center, and many others, reducing their cost for each soldier to only $218. Please considering sponsoring one of these soldiers and their families during this exciting festival dedicated in their honor. Perfect Weather
